I had an incredible time staying at Maison Royale from August-December 2015. The rooms are all well-appointed and include everything you need to be comfortable for your stay in Fontainebleau. The house itself is very cozy and is great for entertaining guests and hosting small dinner parties. The location is perfect, as campus is just a short 10 minute walk away, and downtown Fontainebleau, with its many shops, bakeries, and the chateau, are also within walking distance. There is even an open-air farmers market every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday right around the corner (one of the largest in the surrounding region). Valerie and Elizabeth, who take care of the house, were both very helpful and kind. I enjoyed going for morning runs around the chateau grounds and surrounding forests - it was a truly magical time!

One of the closest big house to campus, very spacious, very nicely renovated, great caretaker who keep the house in order. Bikes are readily available. Great roomies. BEST house in Fonty :)

I stayed in Suite Eugenie, a nice room on the ground floor. The room was clean and tidy as advertised, and the house is conveniently located at an ideal distance between INSEAD and the city center. More importantly, the crowd in the house were friendly, as well as the caretakers. I had a pleasant experience throughout my stay. I would recommend Maison Royale to everyone.
